    Tom Bavetta – Youth Projects Manager

    Tom Bavetta is a qualified coach, trainer, mentor and member of the European Coaching Institute.  Tom has a Business and Finance background and maintains various business interests.  Tom also has extensive experience working with prolific offenders and successfully worked with and developed areas of Hertfordshire’s Intensive Supervision and Surveillance programme for the Herts Youth Offending Team.  Further areas of personal development coaching and training experience comprise working with local government and partnering agencies that include Careers Services, National Probation Service, Adult Learning Partnerships and the Education sector.  Tom is a highly experienced individual and group coach with Hanover Foundations Performance Programmes and has the experience of working in a multitude of schools on successful Performance Programmes.

    Liz de la Cour – Youth Projects Manager

    Liz de la Cour has recently been appointed as a Youth Projects Manager for Hanover Foundations as well as being a Principal Consultant and Performance Management Consultant in London secondary schools. Before becoming a consultant for Hanover she worked in International Education in Africa, Europe and the USA where she was involved in curriculum development and planning. She has extensive experience working with young people, both as an educator for many years and more recently in performance management programmes. She graduated from Cape Town University, and did her postgraduate studies at the University of South Africa and and New York University.

    Paul Elliott – Head of Finance

    Paul Elliott has spent the majority of his career in the civil service, where his responsibilities latterly included managing financial and business planning, budgets and value for money as Head of Finance in the Ministry of Agriculture and Defra. In this capacity he was a member of the senior management team with a seat on the Main Board of the Department. He spent four years as a diplomat at the British Embassy in Bonn and 1 year on secondment to the London Borough of Camden.   Current occupations include Chairmanship of the Audit Committee of the British Horse Society and the Clerkship of the Worshipful Company of Scriveners.


    Serena Standing – Chief Executive

    Serena Standing has been Chief Executive of Hanover since 1997.  She specialises in performance management and talent development and additionally works in the corporate sector with clients including FTSE chief executives. Prior to this she had a successful academic and entrepreneurial career in the UK and Middle East and has also advised and facilitated on UK business start-ups. A Liveryman Worshipful Company of Scriveners and a Trustee of the Philological Foundation. Serena is a certified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a qualified user of MBTI Personality Type Indicators and is a registered coach for the Clore Leadership Programme. Fellow Institute of Leadership and Management, Member European Mentoring & Coaching Council, Serena holds a postgraduate qualification in professional development from the University of Strathclyde.
